Rickets

Rickets. Single AP view from a leg alignment study demonstrates metaphyseal flaring (widening) of the distal femurs and proximal and distal tibial metaphyses. Tibial-shaft inbowing is also evident in the X-ray of this 2-year-old female with a known history of rickets. Contributed by Hassana Barazi, MD
