CONFERENCE STEERING COMMITTEES AND PLANNING COMMITTEES

Steering Committee: This committee—appointed for each year's conference—was responsible for overseeing each year's activities, including refining the overall theme, recommending the planning committee members (until 2006, see below), and selecting recipients of Futures Grants. The chair was selected by the NAKFI Oversight Committee and committee members were recommended by the chair and approved by the oversight committee. Starting in 2007, this committee was combined with the Planning Committee, which was discontinued.

Planning Committee: Until 2007 this committee was responsible for planning each year's conference, including identifying the conference format, speakers, and invited participants. Committee members were chosen by the NAKFI Steering Committee. In 2007, the responsibilities of this committee were combined with those of the NAKFI Steering Committee.

Committee member information, including academy membership(s), is listed as of when the conference occurred and may not reflect current information.
