Figure 11 is a line graph, where the percentage of people aged 16 or older who drove under the simultaneous influence of alcohol and illicit drugs in the past year is shown on the vertical axis. The years 2002 to 2014 are displayed on the horizontal axis, along with three lines, representing people aged 16 to 20 who drove under the simultaneous influence of alcohol and illicit drugs, people aged 21 to 25 who drove under the simultaneous influence of alcohol and illicit drugs, and people aged 26 or older who drove under the simultaneous influence of alcohol and illicit drugs. Percentages of people aged 16 to 20 who drove under the simultaneous influence of alcohol and illicit drugs in the past year were 8.3 in 2002, 8.2 in 2003, 8.0 in 2004, 7.1 in 2005, 7.4 in 2006, 6.9 in 2007, 6.5 in 2008, 6.6 in 2009, 6.1 in 2010, 5.7 in 2011, 5.4 in 2012, 4.2 in 2013, and 4.0 in 2014. Percentages for all years except 2013 were significantly different from the percentage for 2014. Percentages of people aged 21 to 25 who drove under the simultaneous influence of alcohol and illicit drugs in the past year were 10.0 in 2002, 9.4 in 2003, 8.7 in 2004, 9.0 in 2005, 8.8 in 2006, 8.6 in 2007, 8.0 in 2008, 8.7 in 2009, 8.3 in 2010, 7.4 in 2011, 7.3 in 2012, 6.5 in 2013, and 6.4 in 2014. Percentages for all years except 2012 and 2013 were significantly different from the percentage for 2014. Percentages of people aged 26 or older who drove under the simultaneous influence of alcohol and illicit drugs in the past year were 2.1 in 2002, 2.2 in 2003, 2.0 in 2004, 1.9 in 2005, 1.9 in 2006, 1.8 in 2007, 1.9 in 2008, 1.9 in 2009, 1.9 in 2010, 1.5 in 2011, 1.7 in 2012, 1.8 in 2013, and 1.8 in 2014. Percentages for 2002, 2003, and 2011 were significantly different from the percentage for 2014.
