Figure 8 is a bar graph, where the percentage of adolescents who received mental health services in an educational setting in the past year is shown on the horizontal axis. Thirteen bars are shown on the vertical axis, each representing a reason for receiving services: felt depressed (44.3 percent), had problems at school (22.9 percent), felt very afraid and tense (21.2 percent), broke rules and “acted out” (18.6 percent), had problems with friends (17.9 percent), thought about killing self or tried to kill self (15.8 percent), had problems with home/family (14.6 percent), had trouble controlling anger (10.0 percent), had problems with people other than family/friends (8.6 percent), had eating problems (6.7 percent), got into physical fights (2.9 percent), had other diagnosed mental/neurological disorder (0.4 percent), and other (7.9 percent).
