Model bears out calculations by Tuszynski et al. predicting the TTFields’ direct effect on comparable subcellular dipoles is orders of magnitude too weak to have a disruptive effect on cell structures [6]. Thus, workers look for locations in the cell where TTFields’ effect is amplified, such as in highly conductive microtubules composed of tubulin dimers, or at the cell furrow during late mitosis [7]
