Description: Culture of Ferriphaselus amnicola strain GF-20 in liquid culture (Modified Wolfe's Mineral medium, 500 µM of dissolved Fe(II), oxygen concentration : 3 µM O2). The strain was isolated from groundwater collected in the fracture F20 of the PZ26 borehole Ploemeur-Guidel aquifer observatory (French network of hydrogeological observatories H+ (http://hplus.ore.fr/en) and French network of Critical Zone observatories OZCAR (http://www.ozcar-ri.org/)
