isolation and growth conditionDNA was isolated with CTAB protocol doi:10.17504/protocols.io.bhx8j7rw from cells grown on 1% Tryptone agar at 17 C for 8 days. Removed sample from plate by adding 1mL sterile RO water and lightly scraping zoopores + sporangia with L-spreader and removing with 1mL pipette. Pelleted sample (2500 rcf for 10 min) remove supernatant and Flash froze tissue in Liquid N.
