Genome Information for Thermoanaerobacter kivui
Thermoananerobacter kivui previously known as Acetogenium kivui was isolated from Lake Kivu and is able to oxidize hydrogen and to reduce carbon dioxid to acetic acid. It represents one of the first thermophilic acetogenic bacteria.
