The study of the BM06 genome aims to achieve two main goals. Firstly, through comparative synteny analysis, we seek to identify unique genes specific to the BM06 strain that differentiate it from other related bacteria. This comparative approach will highlight genomic regions unique to BM06, providing insights into its distinct genetic makeup and potential functional characteristics. Secondly, we intend to predict the potential virulence factors of the BM06 strain by identifying and analyzing the genes encoding virulence proteins. Understanding these proteins is crucial for assessing the pathogenic potential of BM06 and for exploring new targets for developing effective antimicrobial strategies.
