Genome Information for Kocuria rhizophila
Kocuria rhizophila DC2201. Kocuria rhizophila DC2201 (ATCC 9341, NBRC 103217), formerly Micrococcus luteus, is used as a control strain for sterility and antibiotic susceptibility testing. This strain is also resistant to certain long-chain alcohols such as 1-octanol and will be used for comparative analysis.
