Whole genome sequencing of cultured novel Roseobacter isolates, Leisingera janus, originally obtained from marine biofilms near tubes of the serpulid polychaete Hydroides elegans (Marina del Rey, California). Single-species biofilms of environmental isolates belonging to the Roseobacter clade (Rhodobacteraceae), a widespread and diverse group of marine Alphaproteobacteria, are inducers of settlement and metamorphosis of H. elegans.
