Klebsiella quasipneumoniae has been recently reported to be resistant and virulent as other K. pneumoniae strains, representing serious concern of health care-associated infections. In this study, we report the draft genome of NDM-1 and KPC-2-producing Klebsiella quasipneumoniae clinical strains, which were recovered from a hospitalized patient in Brazil. The whole-genome sequencing revealed K. quasipneumoniae subsp. quasipneumoniae and K. quasipneumoniae subsp. similipneumoniae strains harbored resistance genes to aminoglycosides, b-lactams, fluoroquinolone, fosfomycin and sulphonamide.
