Nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) usually inhabit in the environment, but most of them are occasionally relevant to human and animal health. However, especially regarding newly identified NTM, little information such as genome sequence, those are indispensable to understand their ecology and etiology, are available. Here, we report the draft genome sequences of four species of NTM, Mycobacterium algericum, M. alvei, M. arosiense and M. europaeum, which were isolated from the soil environment in Japan.
