Nocardia

Nocardia nova and Nocardia cyriacigeorgica strains adapted to trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole using experimental evolution

Multiple pathogenic isolates of Nocardia nova and Nocardia cyriageorgica were adapted to trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole using experimental evolution. Whole genome sequencing was used to identify mutations conferring resistance.
