More...A dual RNA-seq time course study was done to investigate the plant microbe interaction for Zea mays and Aspergillus flavus. For Illumina sequencing, asynchronous sampling of total RNA at 0hr, 6hr, 12hr, 18hr, 24hr, 30hr, 36hr, 42hr, 48hr and 72hr for Zea mays ears inoculated with A. flavus in Cary, NC. The data was then processed using CLC genomics workbench to trim and reads where mapped to the Z. mays B73 reference genome and A. flavus NR3357 reference genome. R statistical language was then used to generate a gene coexpression network for A. flavus and Z. mays to allow inference of gene expression patterns and network analysis of the interaction.
