This dataset contains RNA-seq results from rat embryonic striatal neuronal cultures treated with CRISPRi machinery (dCas9-KRAB-MeCP2 fusion) with a CRISPR sgRNA targeting lacZ (a bacterial gene not found in the mammalian genome; used as a non-targeting control) or Reln. Overall design: This experiment contains 8 biological samples, each of which underwent RNA-seq on an Illumina NovaSeq6000 instrument. Samples were treated with CRISPRi machinery targeting lacZ (lacZ control; samples X1i, X2i, X3i, X4i), or Reln (samples X5i, X6i, X7i, X8i) .
