To further elucidate the mechanisms behind heterosis in Chinese cabbage, we re-sequenced the parental inbred lines (S11, R09) of the commercial F1 hybrid cultivar of Chinese cabbage, "W77", that exhibits increased yield as compared to its parental lines.
