Net diversification rates of the woody plant genus Petalidium (Acanthaceae) are highest in the ancient and arid Namib Desert

We performed RAD sequencing for nearly all existing species of the South-African arid-adapted plant genus Petalidium to investigate the evolutionary history of this group and shed light on the drivers of plant diversification in ultra-arid environments.
