To identify transcriptional networks that might underlie the accumulation of transitional cells in the absence of mitochondrial complex I function, we performed bulk RNA-sequencing of lung epithelial cells isolated from conditional Ndufs2 knockout mice that express yeast NADH dehydrogenase (NDI1), as well as from conditional Ndufs2 knockout mice without NDI1 expression and from control mice, at P35.
