The transcriptome of strains of the microalgae Desmodemus abundans acclimated to high CO2 (strain HCA) and low CO2 (strain LCA, air) for ten years was characterized under a model flue gas and depleted culture medium (BG-11 without N and S). RNA-seq may elucidate adaptative changes to high CO2 and tolerance to flue gas.
