Genome Information for Humulus lupulus
A bi-parental mapping population between powdery mildew resistant hop cultivar 'Comet' and susceptible mail germplasm line 'USDA 64035M' was created with 295 offspring.
More...A bi-parental mapping population between powdery mildew resistant hop cultivar 'Comet' and susceptible mail germplasm line 'USDA 64035M' was created with 295 offspring. Due to the dioecious nature of hops, the F1 population represents a psuedo-testcross segregation pattern. Phenotypic data on powdery mildew resistance for parents and offspring were collected from a randomized complete block design of a study performed under controlled greenhouse conditions. All plant material were partially sequenced using 150-bp Illumina sequencing to obtain GBS data.
