Follicle selection in chickens refers to the process of selecting a group of small yellow follicles (SY) with a diameter of 6-8mm to enter the grade follicles. The follicles selected by the follicles develop rapidly, ovulate and lay eggs. Follicle selection is a key factor affecting egg laying performance of chickens. The phosphorylation level of serine 65 of LSD1 (LSD1Ser65p) was significantly increased in F6 follicles after follicular selection.
