Genome Information for Theileria annulata
Our study was designed to collect blood samples from cattle and buffaloes in the southern part of Egypt to screen for the type of blood parasite in this area that harmed animal industries, around 1000 samples were collected and examined by microscopic examination to detect different types of blood parasites, the percent of anaplasma and theileria infection was around 10 % in cattle and buffaloes.

DNA extraction was done for around 200 samples selected from the positive and negative samples. Nested PCR for targeting the 18S ribosomal RNA (BTH 18S) gene is performed in DNA extracted from blood to determine the presence or absence of piroplasm protozoan infection, the primers designed for nested PCR
The sequence analysis was done for some samples and the result which now sent. Less...
