More...There is a dearth of understanding of genome-wide variation in the mitochondrial genomes of ciliate species. We have sequenced multiple isolates of P. tetraurelia, P. sexaurelia, P. caudatum, and P. multimicornucleatum to survey diversity within each of these species.
