More...RNA sequences from one Potamopyrgus antipodarum individual (SRP129896) were mapped against 3200 randomly selected contigs of the Transcriptome Shotgun Assembly GFLZ00000000. We then used SAMtools MPileup version 2.0 to call single-nucleotide variants of the mapped reads. We selected candidate neutral SNPs (3rd codon position) that were flanked by 50 bp of invariable sequences both up- and downstream.
