We demonstrate that the RING-type E3 ligase RhNIRF1 (Rosa hybrida NAC31 Interacting RING Finger Protein 1) interacts with and ubiquitinates RhNAC31, and DAP-seq, DNase-seq, and RNA-seq assay revealed that RhNAC31 directly binds to a series of stress-related genes in rose.
