More...The Millennium Cohort Study (MCS) is a large-scale, longitudinal research project following the lives of ~19,000 children born in the UK between 2000 and 2002. As part of this comprehensive study, whole exome sequencing (WES) data has been generated for a subset of participants.
The WES data represents a valuable resource for researchers investigating genetic factors influencing various aspects of child development, health, and well-being. To maximize the scientific impact of this dataset, a controlled access model has been implemented. Qualified researchers can apply for access to the data through a secure online portal. Applications are reviewed by a data access committee to ensure scientific merit and ethical considerations.
