Our study investigates the mechanisms underlying the inhibition of Salmonella survival within the challenging egg white environment, examining both the presence and absence of the amino acid L-arginine. Utilizing transposon sequencing (TnSeq), our goal is to pinpoint genes indispensable for Salmonella's adaptation to egg white conditions, thereby elucidating various cellular functions crucial for its persistence.
