The purpose of this study was to quantify the survivability of the ARB E.coli and its resistant plasmid by potential HGT occurring in four sites from upstream (two locations with low and high microbial diversity) to downstream (two locations before and after WW release), and to evaluate whether a transient invasion would drive changes in the overall community resistomes and microbiomes.
