Genome Information for Elaeis guineensis
Cryopreservation (preservation in a frozen state) provides an efficient and substantial way for long-term storage of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis) germplasm.
More...Cryopreservation (preservation in a frozen state) provides an efficient and substantial way for long-term storage of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis) germplasm. Cryopreservation involved osmotic protection, rapid cooling, and recovery, which caused oxidative damage to tissue and reduced survival rate. To manage the limitation of cryopreservation of oil palm, transcriptome analysis of embryogenic callus (EC) and zygotic embryo (ZE) was analyzed.
