More...In order to clone the rust resistance gene Lr47, we performed RNA-seq of the resistant parent Kern Lr47 and ten susceptible EMS mutants, and found candidtate gene by the EMS mutagensis and transcript assembly (EMTA) method. In addition, to explore the origin of the Lr47 introgression segment, we performed RNA-seq and variants calling for multiple Ae. speltoides materials. To develop markers in the m118 x Kern Lr47 population, we performed whole genome re-sequencing for both parents m118 and Kern Lr47.
