Armeria scabra Pall. ex Willd. is listed as a synonym of Armeria maritima subsp. sibirica (Turcz. ex Boiss.) Nyman by USDA GRIN taxonomy; of Armeria maritima subsp. elongata (Hoffm.) Bonnier in USDA PLANTS, and of Armeria sardoa Spreng. by Flora Europaea. Needs further study.
