Activated sludge from the aerobic basin of a North Carolina Wastewater Treatment Plant in Charlotte, NC was collected on the morning of March 20 2007. DNA was extracted using Mo Bio UltraClean Water DNA kit and was sequenced using the 454-FLX technology. 454 sequence data is available from the Short Read Archive (SRA): <a href="ftp://ftp.ncbi.nih.gov/pub/TraceDB/ShortRead/SRA001012 ">SRA001012</a> and <a href="ftp://ftp.ncbi.nih.gov/pub/TraceDB/ShortRead/SRA001164 ">SRA001164</a> (16S sequences).
