Abstract

AIDS: Dr. Mike McCune, a research scientist specializing in HIV research and AIDS, discusses a variety of research topics, including viral genetics and immunology. In the interview, McCune considers whether destruction of cells by HIV is a direct or indirect action. McCune studies effective drug combinations, cytokine-based and gene therapies, and information from animal disease models.
