Polychrotinae:
The family Anolinae was not recognized by Macey et al. (1997) as well as Frost and Etheridge (1989). The Anolinae has been rejected by the ICZN and is synonymous with the Polychrotinae. The Polychrotinae is the correct subfamily name for the Polychrinae.This was pointed out by Walter Bohme (reference is Bohme, W. 1990. [Review of Frost and Etheridge]. Z. zool. Syst.Evolutionsforsch. 28:315-316.
