Comments and References:

Groves & Meijaared establish Moschiola indica as a separate species.
Moschiola indica was segregated by Groves and Meijaard in 2005 as a species separate from Moschiola meminna, which they reserve for animals from parts of Sri Lanka. Many sources up to 2005 referred to Indian animals as part of M. meminna (which was until then the only species in the genus). Groves & Meijaard (2005).
